What I do

I offer One on One and group grief programs online using zoom, allowing you to be at home or wherever

 in a comfortable space for you.

I help people with the pain, guilt, isolation loneliness that accompanies grief. You may have anger; you may have a relationship that is struggling.  A loss of hope, meaning and purpose may keep you stuck.  You may struggle with finding meaning and moving forward, anniversaries and reminders ruin your day. The ongoing grief can also be affecting your health physically and emotionally.   I get it, I have been there.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DONT GET HELP?

You stay in pain; loneliness and it doesn’t get better. Your relationship with your spouse will likely end. Your health, your job, your other relationships will all suffer.  If you don’t have depression or anxiety, you will likely develop it, or it will get worse. The likelihood of a substance abuse problem increases. The risk of suicide increases. The relationships with your living relatives will continue to deteriorate.

WHAT DOES WORKING WITH ME ENTAIL

I will guide you in an 8 session, action and steps-based program called The Grief Recovery Method.   1) We will unlearn the bad things society taught us wrongly about grief. Things like: Time heals everything. God won’t give us more than we can handle. God needed an angel. 2) We will work on the coping methods you are using, usually learned from our parents and that we are teaching to our kids. Typically, using drugs, alcohol, isolations, food and other short term emotional relief behaviors. (STERBS). 3) I will guide you through looking at all the grief in your life, (hint it’s been going on since the day you were born). Letting you look at the people who are affecting your emotional well-being that you have probably tried to bury emotionally.  4) I will guide you in looking in detail at the specific person or persons and outline how they have been affecting you. 5) I will guide you in specific steps and actions on how to emotionally/mentally remove the grief you have been carrying for years.
